The Dark Knight

Hmm, not too sure what to write for this one. In short my thoughts are that the film was spoiled by the excessive pre-hype and bollocks about Heath Ledger deserving an oscar etc. Granted he was really good, and the character was really well portrayed, pretty much on a par with Nicholson even. But it wasn't exactly out of this world either, he's just playing a nut job, how hard can it be for a compitant actor. I don't recall Johnney Deep getting nominated for Cpt Sparrow in Pirates.. same standard of acting if not better if you ask me. Anyway that aside and the annoying throat infection Baile seems to get when he puts on the Bat suit the film is really good. Not awesome or the best film ever but still pretty damn good. The stunts are really well put together and the plot is pretty good too. It seemed to lack the originality and depth of character that Batman Begins brought but still it made up for that some what by a more detailed plot. Overall a definate go see, just remember its not THE best film ever.
